We are residents of the Central Valley of California.  Mark is originally from the midwest and Carol is a native of the Central Valley.  As such, Carol spent many vacations, weekends and even just day trips traveling to Morro Bay and the Central Coast.  Mark is a Navy Veteran (the Sailor) and Carol embraces the whimsy of all things beach related (the Mermaid).  In 2012, we bought a small place in Morro Bay to see how much we would use a vacation home.  Turns out, we REALLY used it.  It was a small place just big enough for the two of us and we called it The Love Shack.  We were hesitant to sell our little getaway place but realized that we needed a place where we could host our children, grandchildren and extended families. In ways we cannot fully understand, Haysy Harbor fell into our laps and we purchased it in January of 2016.  It has been a vacation rental since. 

The walls of Haysy Harbor are already ringing with the joy of our family vacations.  It brings us such happiness to be able to share our coastal home with all of you and we strive to make Haysy Harbor as comfortable for you as possible so you can make your own memories!
